Who can play
Chik-Chak is for people aged 13 and older.
What we keep
- Your sign-in id from Google, Facebook, or a guest id, your display name, and your profile photo link if you signed in with Google or Facebook.
- The avatar, country, and language you pick, and your points, wins and streaks.
- The words your phone heard while you played a round, to check the judge. Kept for 7 days, then deleted.
- Room results (names, scores, why a player was out). Kept for 30 days, then deleted.
What we don't do
- We never show what you said to other players.
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't store audio. Your phone turns speech into text.
- There are no ads today. If we add them, this page will say so first.
The AI judge
Each round, the text of your description is sent to an AI model, which decides which word you described and whether you broke a rule. The model does not get your name or account.
Services we use
Firebase Authentication (sign-in), MongoDB Atlas (storage), Render (hosting), DiceBear (drawn avatars), an AI model provider (the judge), and, once Premium is available, Paddle (payments; we never see your card). Some of them process data in the United States, under standard contractual clauses for transfers from the EU and UK.
Your rights
You can see and change your profile in the game, and delete your account at any time (see data deletion). For anything else, write to hello@playchikchak.com.
